Mirage Quilt

Fabric Requirements:

1 Jelly Roll of Your Choice

2 7/8 Yards for backing  (Without extra borders)

1/2 yard for Binding

Backing and binding are not required for the class

Supplies Needed for the Class:

• Machine
• thread
• Mat, Ruler and cutter
• Portable Iron and mat  (Optional)
• Scissors
• Straight pins
• Fabric Marking pen, or pencil

Work Needed to be Done Before Class:

• De-lint your Jelly Roll if the ends are pinked.
• Separate your strips into light and dark only.
• Sew 1 dark and one light together using a 1/4" seam.
• Repeat the process until you have 20 strips of 2. Press to the dark
• NEXT take 2 strips and sew them together to create a 4 strip unit so that you have dark, light, dark, light.
• Press the the four strips to the top (Dark)
• You will end up with 10 units of 4 strips

Have them all pressed and ready for class
